My name is Natalie and I am a stay-at-home mom of two boys under two! I went gluten-free 2 years ago and have been happier and healthier ever since. I suffered from chronic urticaria for a decade before I figured out the cause was gluten. I am not an officially diagnosed celiac because I have been pregnant or nursing since I first found out the possibility of celiac disease. Untreated celiac disease can cause fertility problems and can possibly cause complications in pregnancy. Because of that fact, my family and I are going to go the gene test route.
So whether it is food allergies or celiac disease, I am committed to a gluten-free diet for a healthier, happier life. I hope you enjoy my recipes and tips for living gluten-free. I am not a doctor or a dietician, but I have been through two gluten-free pregnancies and attempt to feed my husband and a toddler gluten-free everyday. I would love to hear from you, so please drop me a comment now and then. Questions, constructive comments, and praise are always welcome! First and foremost, I want to promote a community of support for gluten-free living on my Gluten Free Mommy blog.
Natalie, a Gluten Free Mommy
