Gluten Free Menu Swap- August 4, 2008

We are leaving at the end of the week for Colorado, so I will not be doing much cooking this week. There are clothes to pack, rooms to clean, and meals to plan! We will be gone for two whole weeks, so it will be quiet on the blog for awhile. I will miss the blog while we are gone, but it is perfect timing! We just found out that we are expecting again. I have been suffering from morning sickness (aka “all day” sickness) and even looking at the blog this morning makes me feel a little queasy. The first part of pregnancy is always the hardest for me and one of the hardest things about pregnancy is staying gluten free. I have to make sure I have enough breads, etc. to get through it. Wish me luck on vacation. I kinda need it! haha

GLUTEN FREE MENUS

Wish you guys were cooking at my house this week!

Cooking and Uncooking has her delicious gluten free menu up! She is making parmesan risotto, spaghetti, and quinoa black bean burgers this week.

Angela’s Kitchen is making a vegetable pasta sauce in the crockpot this week and a shrimp spring roll salad. Her menu looks great!

Book of Yum is settling in with some great vegetarian meals. I think an old favorite like the eggplant Parmesan will help her make her new house a home.

Asparagus Thin has a very interesting internationally themed menu planned. And, yes, Creole qualifies as international for me-I’m looking forward to the seafood gumbo.

Living Free is focusing on getting her family’s vegetable intake up. I think the stuffed peppers might do the trick, and the Polenta casserole looks appetizing.

Gluten Free Sox Fan has a great menu. I heart fish tacos! I am glad she will be joining the gluten free Daring Bakers!

Gluten Free Gobsmacked has her back-to-school menu planned. She is making a grilled pork loin and cherry burgers.

Gluten Free Goodness has a delicious healthy menu. She is making salmon and baked turkey cutlets.
