Hi, I was searching for a Gluten Free banana bread recipe, I have LOTS of bananas to use, and I found this. It sounds wonderful, but a question, I already have a GF mix that I get, how much of that would I use in place of your flour ingredients? Thank you, can't wait to try it.

Hi Natalie, Made the banana bread and used baby rice cerial not oats as cant seem to get glutenfree oats here in Aussie. Used Amaranth flour not millet and only 3/4 cup of sugar as too much sugar is not good for me. It turn out great.
Need to make it again this weekend and put in frezzer so i can take out a slice each day for work.
will try some of your other recipes

I woke up this morning and couldn't wait to try the muffins. Other gluten free baked goods recipes that I have tried all feel gritty after sitting overnight. NOT THIS ONE! It is just as good this morning as it was fresh out of the oven last night.

I just made muffins using this recipe and they are absolutely incredible. (I left out the lemon and used vanilla yogurt because I like my banana muffins to taste just like banana.) I can't wait to use this recipe for pumpkin muffins!!

Mary, You can get sweet rice flour very cheaply at an Asian grocery store or online. I am not sure how you would make it at home. If you learn how let me know! You can sub your own mix for this bread very easily.

Butterfly Mama- So glad you liked the recipe!

Heidi- Thanks so much!

Tristen- Thanks! :)

Hi there. Thanks for this recipe. I baked it last night for my gluten intolerant girlfriend, and, WOW, was I popular. Had one or two substitution due to lack of supplies. Btw, it was only the second loaf of bread I have baked in my life. So, idiot-proof recipe that taste great. Good on you.

I'm brand new to gluten free baking and LOVE YOUR SITE - God Bless you for this.
Several of your recepies call for sweet rice four. I inquired at Sprouts and they didn't know what it was and didn't carry it. I have my own mill and can grind it myself if you can tell me what it is. Is it Jasmine or basmati etc?
Thanks much Mary
